In how many languages is CIVIQ available?
The process of linguistic validation requires the identification of cross-cultural equivalence of the concepts or constructs measured so that comparisons can be made between populations of different cultures. Thus, the content of the questionnaire was first submitted for consideration to the different countries involved in the international trials. The linguistic validation was therefore performed in 2 steps: first, confirmation of the cultural relevance of the questionnaire’s content and, second, the translation process. During this process, some conceptual changes were made to refine the content validity of CIVIQ.
